Guru Smt. Kripa Baskaran
Smt. KripaBaskaran , founder and director of Natyarpana Dance Company , is an accomplished bharatnatyam artiste , choreographer and teacher and has performed around the world.
Kripa started training in Bharatnatyam at the age of 7 and gave her major solo Arangetram when she was 14 with instruction from gurus Smt. Chandrakala and ThanjaiSri Hemnath. She then pursued the art form in depth with the guidance of Guru Dr. Ambika Kameshwar. Kripa under the guidance of her guru Dr.Ambika Kameshwar had the privilege to work independently with downs syndrome, cerebral palsy and Autistic Children and teens in Chennai imparting classical dance therapy with the main focus on holistic development.
She formally started the Natyarpana dance company in 2003 with a primary goal to educate and enhance audience appreciation of classical arts and to share classical Indian culture with others. Over a decade number of students have graduated and have gone to become outstanding performers and teachers today.
Kripa is an adjunct professor at the department of dance at UW Milwaukee. Through outreach mission, Kripa does year round lecture demonstrations, performances & presentations at the universities across the US and works with schools, libraries, universities and community centers in Wisconsin. “Karnataka Kalashree” Guru Smt. Revathi Narasimhan, – Bharatanatyam

Smt. Revathi Narasimhan is the disciple of Guru Smt. Kausalya of Chennai and is trained in Vazhuvur RamiahPillai style. She did her Arangetram at the age of Nine and has given performances across India & abroad. She founded Natya Niketan, in 1977 and has trained hundreds of students; many of them are Vidhushis, Scholarship holders, Doordarshan Graded Artists.

Her team of dancers under her leadership, named “Shivakami”, is empanelled by ICCR, New Delhi and has given many group presentations inNatyanjali Festival of Chidambaram, Hampi, Dasara,Rajyothsava,RasikaRanjaniSabha,Music Academy, Nungambakkam Cultural Academy, Sri ThyagaBrahamaGanaSabha

She is very well known for her skills in Abhinaya and Dance Choreography and is well appreciated by the art lovers, dance Critics. Sarvam Krishnamayam, Bhavayami Raghuramam,Vijayanagara Vaibhava, Shanti Dootha Yesu, …to name a few.
